Hi, I'm Niek.
I am Niek De Visscher — enterprise architect, business technologist, consultant, author, and trainer. With my work, I help organizations turn strategy into reality: not in lengthy reports or abstract models, but in concrete choices, platforms, and solutions that truly make a difference. I believe in practical architecture that provides direction, creates connection, and makes organizations agile and future-proof.
Architecture only delivers value when it helps organizations gain faster insight, accelerate innovation, and reduce risk. From that conviction, I write books and other publications, and I guide transformations around legacy, platforms, data, and AI through advisory engagements and training. My style: pragmatic, connecting, and always focused on real-world impact.
My experience spans industries and borders. At KPMG, I helped clients anchor their digital investments into strategy. At adidas, I worked as lead architect on a large-scale omnichannel and direct-to-consumer transformation. In addition, I have supported organizations such as Nespresso, allnex, Digitaal Vlaanderen, FOD BOSA, AirPlus, Abbott, Van Gansewinkel and Province of Antwerp in their digital transitions.
